He accused her of stealing drugs from him, and proceeded to strangle her with a leather belt. Not long after, Harris picked up 33-year-old Antoinette Jones. Denise's body was found on September 12 by a transient man wandering the area. While jailed for a robbery charge, he confessed to the murders and was later sentenced to 94 years imprisonment.
